Scheduled to open August 2019, Crave Food Hall at Discovery Park will include some of the most innovative food operators offering diverse menus made using sustainable, local produce and flare.

Sonny & Sons Hot Chicken

Justly renowned as a culinary innovator, Chef Kevin Sbraga brings exceptional creativity experience to the kitchen. Best known for his winning turn on Season 7 of Bravo’s hit Top Chef, he is also an inventive executive chef who has helmed
some the Philadelphia area’s most exciting restaurants of the past 10 years. Today, Kevin serves as Principal of Sbraga Consulting, in addition to serving as the Executive Director of Culinary for the Fitler Club, a members only lifestyle club.

Most recently, Chef Sbraga appeared alongside Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi on FOX’s MasterChef Season 7; in addition to his work as a food personality, he makes celebrity and charitable appearances across the country and consults on private dining and hospitality projects. His ongoing work builds on the excellent reputation he earned for his thoughtful cooking at Sbraga, his first restaurant, opened in 2011, and his critically acclaimed subsequent venue, The Fat Ham. Sbraga was named one of Esquire magazine’s “Best New Restaurants,” keeping Chef Sbraga in the national limelight that he captured with his winning turn on Top Chef in 2010.

La Dolce Vita Caffe 

Renzo Scribante brings us La Dolce Vita, Born out of a passion for good coffee executed with authentic Italian flair. Renzo's journey began in May 2007 when Remo’s Italian Café was opened in Mount Edgecombe in memory of his late brother, Remo Giuseppe Scribante.

Renzo’s passion is found in all things authentically Italian, a love of great food and an intrigue in Café Culture. From an early age this passion was stirred in his mother’s kitchen where he assisted in the daily food preparations found in a good Italian home. This coupled with the duty of clearing the table post lavish Sunday lunches meant he was destined to enter the world of hospitality.

From a small café with a limited menu the company grew and the holding company Rembrothers Group was established which forms the head office and houses our brands.

Ricky's Might Fine Meatballs

On October 21, 1891, Ricky’s Grandmother, Carmela Barone, was born in a little home in Foggia, Italy. Seventeen years later, she immigrated to the United States on the ship “Buenos Aires,” through Ellis Island. She settled in Hudson County in Northern New Jersey where she lived the rest of her life.

When Ricky was born in 1963, “Nonna” Barone was still a feisty, 72-year old woman, who ruled over the family with an iron fist; and who still cooked for the family nearly every day, making everything from scratch. Although 72 years separated them, their love of her homemade Italian meatballs kept them united until the day she died, when Ricky was 12 years old.

Ricky remembers walking into her old, decrepit apartment building, but his senses lighting up from the smells that emanated from her tiny home. She cooked amazing feasts for up to 20 people from her 800-square-foot “Palace.” Ricky has vivid memories of rolling out her meatballs, and making tiny ones to put inside her raviolis, too!

Enjoy the old world charm of Nonna’s special recipe, brought to you from Foggia, Italy, more than a century ago. Ricky’s Mighty-Fine Meatballs, are really Nonna’s, but please don’t tell anyone!

Global Tacos and Gourmet Sandwiches

John Franke joined Front Burner Restaurants as Vice President of Culinary Operation in 2008 after working as a research and development chef with Pappas Restaurants. Prior to that, John’s career carried him across the country with positions as sous chef at Harvey Hotels, chef de cuisine at Neiman Marcus, and executive chef at Sullivan’s Steakhouse. He also spent several years in Africa, embarking on missions and humanitarian work in Burkina Faso.

In the past 11 years, John has led the menu development for Twin Peaks (now 82 locations), Ojos Locos Sports Cantina (7 locations), The Ranch at Las Colinas/Haywire, Whiskey Cake (7 locations), Velvet Taco (9 locations), Mexican Sugar (Plano, TX), Ida Claire (Addison, TX), Sixty Vines (2 locations), Neighborhood Goods (Plano, TX), Legacy Hall (Plano, TX), Son of a Butcher (Plano, TX), and The Keeper (Plano, TX). John’s focus with the menu development for each concept is using the freshest ingredients possible, establishing close relationships with local growers and ranchers, using as many of those local products in the brands, and making all of the recipes in house from scratch.

Old Town Italy Pizzeria

Clifford Barratt brings us Old Town Italy Pizzeria, where romantic values based on a simpler, slower and better quality of life still stand. This authentic Italian pizzeria is about slowing things down, celebrating ethics, preserving standards and rediscovering quality. 

There was a time when a visit to your local grocery store was more of a social event than a chore. Where the butcher knew your preferences and the baker greeted you by name. A place where product knowledge, a hearty smile and sound advice was given freely. Old Town’s
mission is to restore these qualities and rekindle those experiences.

The menu focuses on quality over quantity, incorporating a mix of both exotic and traditional toppings. All pizzas are made with only the highest quality products, including imported OO flour, Italian tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.

Shawarma Shack

Yaser Khalaf is bringing the great Mediterranean street food, Shawarma, to Crave Food Hall. Guests are mesmerized by the slow cooked, wood fired meats, literally roasting on spits in the window - it’s food theater at its best. And its sure to become a favorite for our vegetarian, vegan and gluten free friends. Shawarma Bar pays homage to the region with its creativity and diversity and will bring the spice (literally and figuratively) to Crave.

For more than 25 years, Yaser has shared his love of great food with his customers. Born in Kuwait, Yaser’s passion for the hospitality industry began with a pizza parlor he opened while a student at the University of Kentucky. He went on to grow the restaurant company to 14 locations throughout northern Kentucky. Over the years, Yaser has perfected his skills in creating successful restaurants that capitalize on popular and emerging food trends.

The Garner family brings fresh, made to order burgers, hand cut fries, and extraordinary shakes to Crave Food Hall. Dave and his sons have proudly served some of the best burgers throughout the Midwest for the last 14 years. Expect unique twists to traditional burgers at this fun, family owned stall.

Crave Food Hall is not only a great place to eat, but also the perfect place to drink and be social. Friends and colleagues come together to relax and unwind in a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere with fresh, handmade cocktails by veteran mixologist Ana Torres.
